Doctor of Industrial Technology (D.I.T)
The Doctor of Industrial Technology degree (DIT) program is intended to prepare and develop individuals for careers
in teaching and leadership in institutions of higher education, and educational organizations. It is a terminal degree
following a master's degree and based within the discipline of industrial technology. The development of career competencies
is accomplished through course requirements, internships, research activities, seminars, writing/communication experiences,
and a dissertation which is a significant research effort by the doctoral candidate

Application for Admission

Hold a Master's Degree with an education or industry specialization in a content field in or related to industrial technology

Graduate GPA of 3.2, or higher on all prior graduate work

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with score ranking in the 30th percentile or higher for each of the verbal, analytical, and quantitative sections

Three years of professional-level educational or industrial experience in/or related to the major field of specialization

Official Transcripts from all post-secondary academic studies completer or attempted and transcript of earned degree must be sent
directly from the issuing institution to the UNI registrar
