Athletic Training
The Athletic Training Education Program at the University of Northern Iowa offers a Master of Science degree
in Athletic Training. The mission of the program is to fuse the didactic, clinical and scholarly components
of graduate education to assure that students who graduate from UNI can make significant contributions to the
profession of athletic training. The program is a post-professional program, which means that it is directed
to students who are already certified athletic trainers.
