Dr. Nadia Korobova, Associate Director for International Students and Scholars, has been awarded a prestigious Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) grant to undertake a study tour of Germany in June of this year. Founded in 1925, the DAAD is a publicly-funded independent German organization that supports international academic co-operation. The DAAD grants are available to students of all academic disciplines and at each academic degree level, including undergraduates, graduating undergraduates and recent graduates with a BA, Master’s degree students, doctoral students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty. Dr Korobova received a PhD in Education (Educational Leadership and Policy Studies) from Iowa State University in 2012. Past DAAD grant recipients include literary icon Susan Sontag and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jeffrey Eugenides.
