If you are interested in bringing an international visitor to the UNI campus please contact the Office of International Programs secretary, Beccy Johnson, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-273-6807.
Once the Office of international Programs (OIP) has received notification by a department head that they want to host an international visitor or OIP is contacted by an international partner/professor looking for an appropriate departmental match, specific information is required to begin the process of bringing the visitor to the UNI campus.
A new online Travel Registry has streamlined the process of inviting international visitors to campus. All mandatory forms can now be completed online. To complete an application to invite an international visitor please follow the travel registry link. Click on "Apply Now" and follow the prompts. You will need your UNI user name and passphrase to continue. If you have any questions please contact Beccy Johnson.
The University of Northern Iowa encourages colleges, departments and faculty members to invite foreign scholars to campus to engage in academic and research collaborations and to teach. Such visits provide the UNI community with a diversity of perspectives, which facilitate the generation of knowledge.
If you are a prospective international visitor and would like to come to the University of Northern Iowa but need assistance establishing a departmental host please contact Philip Plourde, Director of International Programs, at email@example.com or 319-273-6807.
