The Future of Eurozone: The European Project at a Crossroads - Austrian Consul General Thomas Schnoell

Mr. Schnoell is a career diplomat and was appointed Consul General of Austria in Chicago in January 2010. He earned a Masters Degree in Law from Johannes Kepler University in Linz before joining the Austrian Foreign Ministry in 1997. In 1998 Mr. Schnoell was posted to the Austrian Embassy in Paris, where he dealt with French internal politics and consular affairs.

Tammy Gregersen Awarded Fulbright Specialist Program Grant

Tammy Gregersen, Associate Professor of Languages and Literatures, has been awarded a Fulbright Specialist Program grant to travel to University of Santiago, Chile, in July-August 2012 to conduct research, teach, and consult.  The Fulbright Specialist Program is designed to provide short-term academic opportunities (two to six weeks) for U.S.

CeNIDE Nano Summer Program

The Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen (CeNIDE) is announcing the CeNIDE Nano Summer Program, June 4 – July 20, 2012 which will take place at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. This seven-week international academic program focuses on the exciting and emerging field of nanotechnology. It is designed for outstanding students from all over the world in their third to fifth academic year with a major in science or engineering.
