Monbukagakusho, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) offers following three scholarships for non-Japanese nationals wishing to study in Japan. Research: offers applicants the opportunity to spend 18 or 24 months conducting independent research under a Japanese professor; any field of study is eligible for the scholarship, but applicants must find a Japanese professor willing to supervise their research; however, this does not guarantee that the applicant will be placed with that professor.

Fourth Fine Arts International Conference 2012 "Culture and Heritage" organized by Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand, will take place April 26-27, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand. More information can be found on the attached fliers. Regrettably, no funding is available from OIP to support attendance.
