ThinkSwiss offers scholarship for a research stay in Switzerland.  It supports highly motivated and qualifies U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to do research at a public Swiss university or research institute for 2 to 3 months.  The scholarship is open to students of all fields.  Click here for more information. 

International Scientific and Practical Conference in Moscow, Russia

International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovation: Perspective, Problems, Achievements" will take place in Moscow, Russia, on May 27, 2013.  It is organized by Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (UNI international partner) and registration deadline is April 20.  For more information, please see attached flier.  

Fulbright Scholar Program Innovations Spotlight: Flex Grants

In order to engage U.S. scholars currently unable to spend extended periods of time abroad, the Fulbright Program welcomes applications from scholars who propose multiple stays of one to three months in the host country over a period of two to three years.  The total proposed visits should equal approximately one semester of exchanges.  In addition to their primary research or teaching activities, flex award scholars will be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and otherwise engage with the host-country academic community.

Dr. Nadia Korobova Awarded DAAD Grant

Dr Nadia Korobova, Associate Director for International Students and Scholars, has been awarded a prestigious Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) grant to undertake a study tour of Germany in June of this year.  Founded in 1925, the DAAD is a publicly-funded independent German organization that supports international academic co-operation.  The DAAD grants are available to students of all academic disciplines and at each academic degree level, including undergraduates, graduating undergraduates and recent graduates with a BA, Master’s degree students, doctoral students,
