Alexandra Rausch is an Assistant Professor in Business Management and Management accounting at the Alpen-Adria-Universitaet Klagenfurt, Austria. Her current research interests include Managerial decision-making behavior, Behavioral Accounting, Stakeholder Management and her main research methods focus on empirical and experimental surveys. Her doctoral thesis was about the efficiency and effectiveness of communication processes in management. Besides research she teaches Management Accounting and Budgeting at the Universitaet Klagenfurt and at the Universitaet Salzburg as well as in practice-oriented university-level programs. Furthermore, she held seminars on special topics at the University of Rijeka (Croatia) and Padua (Italy). Alongside her core responsibilities research and teaching she also conducted several projects in operative and strategic business practice and is volunteer managing director of the Committee for supporting the Faculty of Business Administration at the Universitaet Klagenfurt.
