Built in 1925, the West Gym construction was part of an effort to attract male students. The West Gymnasium now serves as the home court for UNI's wrestling team as well as UNI Military Science Program (ROTC). The gymnasium is also a site for performances, dances and assemblies as well as athletics and classes.
