In October 2005, arsonists set fire to Gilchrist Hall. All staff were forced to relocate during cleanup and renovation. In July 2008, staff began moving back in. Gilchrist Hall is home to the Follon Student Services Center. The Follon SSC is UNI's one-stop-shop for student services, including financial aid, student employment, registration and records, billing, advising, ID cards, etc.
