The Master of Science Degree in Technology program provides students with an opportunity to develop higher levels of technical, managerial, research and communication abilities required for professional career positions. This program is available, with either an educational orientation or with an industrial focus, each with thesis and non-thesis options. The thesis option provides for research, writing and professional competency development, whereas the non-thesis option provides opportunities for technical development and more in-depth understandings in the desired area of concentration through coursework. The Master of Science in Technology degree program is intended to prepare and develop professionals to perform and function as leaders and skilled technologists in the industrial or educational environments.

The master’s program in technology provides candidates with a core of courses in industrial technology, appropriate supervisory or organizational aspects, technical, research basics, and educational leadership. UNI also offers the Doctor of Industrial Technology (D.I.T.) program.
