Job Title Descriptions

Project Manager- A project manager will be responsible to manage the project from start to finish. Dalily activities include preparing and updating the projects schedule, purchasing materials, change orders, job records, pay requests, submittals, and job meetings. The project manager also acts as the general contractor's liaison to the owner.
 
Estimator- An estimator will be responsible for attending the pre-construction meetings, reviewing all regulations and specifications, performing a quantity take-off's, and cost estimates.
 
Superintendent- A superintendents duties include, field supervision of labor forces, expediting materials and equipment, short term scheduling, job safety, and quality control. The superintendent will work with the project Manager to coordinated sub-contractors to keep the project on schedule.
 
Field/Project Engineer- An entry-level position that provides the opportunity to become a project manager, estimator, or superintendent. Daily activities include assisting superintendents, project managers, and estimators with their daily responsibilities.
 
*Entry level positions in the above fields typically provide starting salaries ranging from $35,000 to $40,000 in the midwest
