President Benjamin Allen and his wife, Pat Allen, have made a $300,000 pledge to launch the Imagine the Impact campaign's 2008 campus drive. The campus drive is the first phase of the UNI Foundation's new $150 million Imagine the Impact campaign.
Masks, sculptures and other artifacts from west and central Africa are part of a unique exhibit, "Visions of Africa: Art and Ritual," presented by the UNI Museums through Dec. 20.
Gilchrist Hall will be rededicated during a ceremony at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17 at the west entrance of the building. The event will conclude with a reception and building tours.
