Perambulatory Clauses:
1. AFFIRMING that a geosynchronous orbital is a satellite whose orbit allows the satellite to remain over the same region of the earth at all times, and
2. RECOGNIZING the fights over orbital slots as “Star Wars,” and
3. REAFFIRMING that a nation that launches an object into outer space shall retain jurisdiction and control over such object, and
4. ACKNOWLEDING that the dwindling number of orbital slots is an issue that needs to be immediately addressed, and
5. ACKNOWLEDING that many slots that have been assigned satellites do not currently have satellites do not currently have satellites occupying them, and
6. AWARE of a back-up of applications for satellite slots, and
7. DECLARING that for all further United Nations documents, geosynchronous orbitals be referred to as “Death Stars,” and
Actuating Clauses:
1. RECOMMENDS that a nation who has reserved a slot either fill it or make arrangements for it to be used by a capable party, and
2. PERMITS nations to allow use of orbital slots by private industries or interested nations, and
