Do I need to know another language to participate?
No. Instruction is by UNI instructors in English.

Who may participate in an international field experience?
Any UNI student may participate. The international field experiences are designed for students in the College of Education, but any student may take advantage of them.

What does it cost to participate in an international field experience?
Program costs vary depending on location and length of the experience. Every effort is made to keeps costs at a minimum. Specific program descriptions on this web site provide approximate costs for all international field experiences.

Do you have to be at least a junior to be part of this program?
No.  Although international field experiences are not recommended for freshmen, any other class level is fine. Graduate students are also able to participate.
