Designing K-12 Curricular Materials on the WWW

In December, 1998, the 6 teams completed the first iteration of their WWW sites. Below are links to those sites. The sites should be considered work-in-progress as the teams continue to refine and enhance their web-based curriculum.

    Team 1:    Cedar Rapids Community School District:
                    "Renaissance" is a WWW site for middle school social studies students.

    Team 2:    New London Community School District:
                    "Ale Lee Yen Travels" is a WWW site for middle school science and math students learning about
                    space, the solar system and measurement.

    Team 3:    Montezuma Community School District:
                    "Mexican Culture-The Yucatan" is a WWW site for 3-6th grade social studies students.

    Team 4:    Charles City Community School District:
                    "Rockford Fossil and Prairie Park" is a WWW site for 5-12 science students.

    Team 5:    Corning Community School District, along with Clearfield Community School District, and Mormon
                    Trail Community School District:
                    "Iowa in the Civil War" is a WWW site for 5-12th grade history students.

    Team 6:    Davenport Community School District, along with Ames Community School District, Des Moines
                    Community School District, Dowling High School in West Des Moines, and Perry Community
                    School District:
                    "Determination of the Percentage of Copper in a Penny" is a WWW site for high school
                    chemistry students.
