THE IOWA COUNCIL FOR THE SOCIAL STUDIES  invites you to participate in the 2003 ICSS Annual Conference, October 21-22.  This year's conference will be held in Des Moines at the Merle Hay Four Points Sheraton. 

An ICSS reception and WORKSHOPS will be held on the evening of Tuesday, October 21 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

FIFTY MINUTE PRESENTATIONS are scheduled throughout the day on Wednesday, October 22. Professionals at the elementary, middle, high school and post-secondary levels will address a wide variety of content areas including HISTORY as well as critical thinking, technology, citizenship, global studies, geography, government, economics and the behavioral sciences.
