CAREGIVER EDUCATION . . . . . . . . . .
Caregiver Education Workshops were developed to provide additional resources to caregivers throughout Iowa. The workshops provide an overview of topics facing caregivers of aging adults and identify potential resources to aid them in their care. The workshops have been developed by IaCAG members, University of Northern Iowa faculty, and professionals from the Cedar Valley. Several workshops are available in the Cedar Falls and Waterloo areas. Workshops are open to any interested parties and can be arranged throughout the state of Iowa.
Groups interested in hosting a Caregiver Education Workshop can contact our office.
Virtual Caregiver Education Lectures: Those interested in viewing some of our most popular topics can see them in lecture format here. Handouts are also available, in both regular and large print, for those wishing to either keep the information for personal use or broadcast the lectures in an educational setting.
