"It has allowed me to develop as a student and a leader. Being in Honors allows for smaller class size, which means more interaction with professors and discussion in classes. Instead of those lecture halls where you take notes, Honors lets students speak up and voice their opinions. The Honors Program has also given me opportunities to lead. Last fall I started as the Presidential Scholar representative on the Honors Advisory Board. This has given me the chance to help make decisions that could affect the entire program."
