Honors Week

Honors Week is a celebration of academics and scholastic achievement at the University of Northern Iowa. The week provides an opportunity to recognize and connect students who are collectively pursuing academic excellence through honor societies, honorary organizations, and the University Honors Program.

NuMuzArt: an original, multi-sensory creative experience
Sponsored by University Honors Program

29 musicians, 9 artists, and 1 composer working  together to bring you a creative alternative to the standard classical music recital format. NuMuzArt will present works of local artists and 12 compositions by Tori Ovel, 7 of which have never been publicly performed before. In this open house style, guests can come and leave anytime between 2 and 5pm. The goal of NuMuzArt is to create an alternative recital format which can be built upon by future music students who dislike the rigid formalities of the standard music recital.
