Interesting fact about yourself: I hadn't ever read the Harry Potter series until I arrived on campus my freshman year. I then proceeded to read the entire series in the week before Thanksgiving break. I don't know how I managed to do that and NOT fail out of the honors program.

Hobbies: Reading, listening to music, and procrastinating.

Favorite UNI memory: Well, it's hard to pick just one; UNI's pretty awesome. Though, it's certainly not the studying.  I suppose it would be the intense, random conversations at 2 a.m the day before a test, staying in the dining center long past your welcome, going out to Village Inn after midnight so often the waiter knows your name and significant other (or lackthereof), swimming in the WRC with friends when you really should be doing homework, and playing games on a Friday night. If I had to pick one, though, aside from procrastinating, it would be the developing of friendships that will last a lifetime.

The best part about being in Honors is:  This whole 'best' thing is going to become a problem. If I had to choose just ONE it would be the meeting the people. Never before have I met so many dedicated, intelligent, dependable, awesome individuals as in the Honors Program (Though, there are SEVERAL outside of the program as well, the program just gives a good excuse to meet people.)  A great majority of my close friends (including all my roommates for next year) I met through the Honors Program. The Honors Program has, rather literally, made me who I am today and I could not be more grateful.

The best part about being in Honors is:  Honors classes - they're so much more fun and rewarding than other liberal arts core classes!
