Honors Student Advisory Board

The Honors Student Advisory Board (HSAB) is a group created to help plan activities, share ideas, and give input into the future of the Honors Program. Those wishing to serve on HSAB should notify Jessica of their interest or simply attend any of the General Assembly meetings. The membership elects a chair and recorder, as well as committee chairs for the social, academic, and outreach committees. The rest of the General Assembly will volunteer to serve on a minimum of one committee.

HSAB normally meets bi-weekly for reports on committee meetings, planning for upcoming events, and discussion of student goals and ideas for the future of the program. Special ad hoc committees are established as the need arises.

Involvement in the Honors Student Advisory Board gives you the opportunity to influence the direction of the program and share your ideas on a variety of programming issues. You can serve on various committees that help plan academic, social, and outreach events. Student input on honors courses and activities is extremely valued!
