October 7th - 12th, 2013

Monday October 7th

5:30pm Homecoming Kickoff- Maucker Union Roof

Join us on the Maucker Union roof to kick off Homecoming with our annual Pride Cry competition with entertainment from the Cheer & Dance Teams and the Pep Band!

Tuesday October 8th

8:00pm Homecoming Royalty Competition- Maucker Union Ballroom

Come have a say in who wins Homecoming Royalty! Watch, cheer and vote on your favorite royalty candidates in the Maucker Union Ballroom!

Wednesday October 9th

11:00am-1:00pm Homecoming Picnic- Campanile Plaza

Enjoy free food and entertainment on the Campanile Plaza and Lawther Field. Food will be served until we run out, Vegetarian options will be available.

6:00pm Amazing Race Traditions Challenge- Alumni House

Teams of five compete in an amazing race challenge across campus using picture clues to direct them to new locations.  At each stop they complete an activity and take a picture of the tradition for their Traditions Challenge books. Be sure to sign up your team prior to the event! Brought to you by CATS and the Alumni Center.

8:00pm Casino Night- Maucker Union

Join the Campus Activities Board in Maucker Union and test your luck at roulette, craps, poker, black jack, mocktails and prizes!

Thursday October 10th

8:00pm Magician & Illusionist Mike Super- Maucker Union

Friday October 11th

8:00pm Homecoming Pep Rally- Lawther Field

Get ready for the final round of Pride Cry, performances from the Cheer & Dance teams, Royalty Coronation, and lots of Panther Pride!

Midnight Campaniling- Campanile Plaza

Campaniling is a tradition that has been participated in since the early years of the campanile's existence. This tradition has grown into a huge event, one in which nearly every student participates before he or she graduates from the university. Rumor has it that for every student who graduates from UNI without being kissed in the shadow of the campanile, a brick will fall from the tower! Come on over to the Campanile and participate in a UNI tradition!

Saturday October 12th

12:00pm Tailgating

4:00pm Homecoming Football Game- UNI Dome
