CONSIDER the Public History Alternative!

The Department of History offers a certificate program for the undergraduate and a concentration within the Master of Arts program for graduate students.  In addition, all students have the option of taking "Applying History: The Public Alternative," or an internship outside of any formal course of study.

Why Should You Explore Options in Public History?

JOBS: The public history alternative opens up a host of opportunities that allow you to use your college training.

FLEXIBILITY: Placement in the public sector can be short-term or long-term.  It can provide a supplemental income or be quite lucrative in itself.
