Business and Community Services (BCS)Serves as the one-stop entity for economic development services and provides an integrated approach to meeting the economic development needs of businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities throughout Iowa.
ICNCourses taught by UNI faculty members, usually offered as part of a degree program or certificate program, via the Iowa Communications Network at predetermined locations.
Presidential and Provost ScholarshipsAwarded by the University Honors Program to high school seniors with a history of outstanding academic performance, along with personal involvement in leadership and service activities.
Center for Economic Education (CEE)Works to increase the quantity and enhance the quality of economic education programs from kindergarten through college by conducting programs for teachers and working with school district officials to distribute appropriate curriculum materials.
Center for Energy and Environmental Education (CEEE)Promotes greater understanding and awareness about issues related to energy efficiency and the environment to the public, educational and civic institutions, and businesses.

Integrative Services ProjectWorks to enhance the safety and sobriety of battered substance abusing women by ending discrimination in service provision through research, agency education, technological support, and collaboration among service providers.
Iowa Consortium for Applied GerontologyIncreases the number of service providers and improves educational opportunities to better serve Iowa’s senior population.

New Iowans ProgramGuides and prepares Iowa communities and businesses as they accommodate immigrant and refugee newcomers living and working in Iowa.
Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center (RRTTC)Interdisciplinary research, education, and outreach center that provides support to the recycling and by-product reutilization industry.
Science Center for Teaching, Outreach, and Research on Meteorology (STORM)Initiates, supports, and coordinates activities that relate weather information and conceptual models of the atmosphere to user communities in Iowa and the Midwest.
Teacher Education Addressing Minority-Language Speakers (TEAMS)A bilingual career ladder program that enables successful completion of elementary teacher education for adults whose native language is other than English.
2+2 Partnership ProgramAllows students to complete two years of a teacher education program through community college courses and then two years of classes taught by UNI faculty on location at the community college.
