The Geographic Alliance of Iowa is an organization designed for everyone interested
in geographic education. In addition to being a discipline, geography is an interdisciplinary
link across the curriculum; it provides a framework that can enhance many subject
areas. The GAI is supported financially by the National Geographic Society and
other public and private organizations in Iowa. Membership is FREE and
open to all persons interested in promoting geographic education. To become a
member of the GAI and receive its publications, please fill out the application
