Want to transfer to UNI but are unsure what to do to get your financial aid. Look no further than here to find the information you will need to make the transition smoothly.

Be sure your information from your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been released to UNI. Electronic transfer of FAFSA results can be done by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov . Next, enter the link entitled "Make corrections to a Processed FAFSA." To continue you will need to have your Federal Student Aid pin number.

From that point you will want to add UNI to the list of schools that you would like to receive your FAFSA information. The UNI school code is 001890.

If you don't have your pin number you can either submit a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) or provide our office with your Data Release Number (DRN) and Transaction Number (TRN) (usually the first two letters of your last name, followed by 01, 02, etc.) from your most recent SAR.

If you do not have a copy of your SAR, contact your current college, or call (319) 337-5665 to request a copy of your SAR or request that your information be sent directly to UNI.
