Scholarships Outside UNIIf you are a high school senior, we’d also like to encourage to search within your high school and community for additional scholarships that could assist in funding your education at UNI. High school counselors may be your best starting point, however students may also want to check into opportunities through their (or their parents) places of employment, civic or religious organizations, and businesses throughout their communities. While a student’s hometown may be the best place to start, don’t forget about completing the UNI Common Scholarship Application. Scholarship searches can also be completed on a national level by visiting websites such as www.FastWeb.com or www.finaid.org. Please keep in mind that all scholarship searches should be free of charge. Parents and students should be wary if fees are requested during the scholarship search process. |
