Finding Jobs
Wanting to earn some extra money or find a job that will provide
an opportunity to expand your skill sets? The Online
Job Board is your one stop search tool, designed to
assist students in their search for student employment opportunities,
both on and off-campus.
Four specific employment types are available: On-Campus Work Study,
Off-Campus Work Study (CSL), On-Campus Non-Work Study, and Off-Campus
Non-Work Study. Students also have the ability to sort by specific
categories such as wage rate, starting date, or department. Once
a desired position is found, students can click into the posting
to obtain further details about the job and how to apply.
To comply with Equal Opportunity Regulations, Work
Study and Departmental
Employment job positions must be advertised on the
Online Job Board at least 24 hours prior to hiring.

Guide to Finding Jobs
Posting a Job
On-campus departments can log into the Online
Job Board (found within MyUNIverse) and post positions
that are available within their department. Once within the Job
Board employers have the ability to create and manage their job
postings.
Off-campus businesses and organizations can also
utilize the Online Job Board free of charge. Off-campus employers
will be required to complete the Job
Detail form and return it to the Student Employment
Office.
Fax: (319) 273-2320
Email: unistudent-jobs@uni.edu
Off-campus positions are active for 3 weeks and may be extended
by simply contacting the Student Employment Office. If a positions
is filled or would like the posting removed please contact Student
Employment Office to ensure that the Online Job Board remains as
current as possible.
Posting Personal Profiles (Students):
An additional component to the Online
Job Board allows students to post profiles about themselves
for hiring departments/jobs they are most interested in, as well
as a brief description of their experience or abilities. When jobs
open up in the department specified students will be sent an email
notification informing them to view the posting on the Online Job
Board. Likewise departments will be sent notification informing
them that a student has a profile posted that may match their position.
