Dropping Courses Students may drop a course anytime up to and including
one week (7 instructional class days) after the beginning of University
instruction. After one week has passed, students may drop a course with
a “W” until the end of the 8th week of instruction (midterm).
Dropping with a “W” removes the course from the academic
record and is subject to a tuition refund if the drop results in becoming
less than full time. However, dropping with a “W” will affect
academic progress as the course will no longer be completed with a passing
grade. After the 8th week, dropping a course will result in taking an
“F” in the course which will also affect academic progress
and no tuition will be refunded if dropping the course results in going
below full-time. Check the current semester’s Schedule of Courses
booklet for specific dates on dropping courses with and without a “W”. *Please note this methodology only pertains to a portion of the courses being dropped; if you will be completely withdrawing please view withdrawing from classes for more accurate information." |
