UNI Child Care Grants are available to both undergraduate and graduate students for the 2008-09 academic year. Grants are worth $1,000 for the academic year. While all classified students are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to first BA students.

Criteria for selection include: Enrolled at least half time (6 hrs, undergrad; 5 hrs, grad) as a UNI student working toward a degree or certification, financial need and minimum $500 per semester out-of-pocket child care expenses.

Deadline to submit UNI Child Care Grant application: April 1, 2008
Priority will be given to students with financial aid packages completed by April 1, 2008

File 2008-09 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) starting Jan. 1, 2008.

Undergraduate students apply using the Common Online Scholarship application at www.uni.edu/finaid. Under the University Scholarships addendum (near top right), select General University Scholarships (top right of box), click on Choose Divisions (bottom center of page), scroll down and complete section #6
