Please utilize the timeline below to maximize your financial aid eligibility. Remember, being organized is a big part of financial planning.

MID-JUNIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL
Begin scholarship search process. Collect information on scholarships including their deadlines and application procedures.
SENIOR YEAR MID-AUGUST
Application for admission to UNI available.
FALL SEMESTER
Complete the University Scholarship Application for the upcoming academic year.
JANUARY 1
Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after this date.
MARCH
Initial Financial Aid Award Notification sent out to students with complete records.
SUMMER

  • Complete Master Promissory Note if a first time borrower through the Direct loan Program.

  • Stafford borrowers need to attend loan entrance counseling at Summer Orientation or at https://www.dl.ed.gov if they have not already done so.

  • Begin searching for employment at UNI Online Job Board.
