Katherine V. Gannett is a non-traditional graduate student at the University of Northern Iowa, earning M.A. degrees in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis and Women's and Gender Studies. Her future plans including finding opportunities to write creatively while she pursues a career in the US Foreign Service. Katherine intends to emigrate to the Orkney Islands, Scotland, UK, as soon as her financial situation allows for it.
