Annual Meeting of the Association

The By Laws provide for an Annual Business Meeting of the Association, which is usually held in mid-November.  At that meeting, in addition to the report of the Chair and any active committees, the Association invites a speaker to make a presentation to the group.

On the same date as the annual UNI Recognition Breakfast, the Association holds an annual luncheon.  The location of the luncheon has varied over the years depending upon the availability of facilities and space.  At this luncheon the Association invites a speaker to make a presentation to the group.  Also there is a musical performance presented by faculty and/or student or other musicians.

Informal Monthly Lunches  (Click here for recent photos.)

In addition to the annual luncheon above, the association has arranged informal monthly lunches. The group meets at 11:45 a. m. on the first Wednesday of each month at the Cedar Falls Holiday Inn. Service is down the buffet line. The association has begun to invite a person active on the campus for a brief presentation at these lunches; the presentations are followed by questions from the attendees.
