UNI FALL CONVOCATION
THE FIRST OF A NEW TRADITION

When: August 28, 2000 -- 3:15 P.M.

Where: UNI Dome

Who: All
UNI students, emphasis on freshmen and transfer students.
Faculty, staff, community friends and families.
|
|
What: This convocation will be the
beginning of a new tradition designed to beckon all
students to a productive and fulfilling University experience.
|
|
Speakers: President Koob, and
Ben Carson, M.D. Head Pediatric Neurosurgeon, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Carson is a product of a ghetto. He has made the most of all opportunities and
wishes to share his experiences and dedication with others.
|
For emeritus faculty who wish to participate in the processional, please
dress in formal academic regalia.
