Molecular Dynamics simulations of mechanical stability of neon gas disc placed around a central C60 fullerene molecule. Mechanical stability was studied by keeping the temperature constant and initial angular velocity at 0.5 rad/ps. The first video shows the behavior of the entire system. The second video concentrates on the close up of the C60 fullerene and the neon layer adsorbed on the fullerene. The third video shows the simulation from the side to obtain another perspective on the interaction.
