New Environmental Science Degree Available
The Earth Science Department now has an Environmental Science B.A. degree available for interested undergraduates. The degree is centered upon courses in the physical sciences that will help students prepare for a career in the analysis and evaluation of environmental issues in several areas. Students can elect to have an emphasis of study in four areas -
- Air Quality
- Hydrology - Water Quality
- Geoscience - Land Quality
- Overall Physical Environment - (Air, Water and Land)
The degree includes opportunities for students to investigate environmental issues using the various lab resources in Latham Hall and work with faculty specialists in each of these areas. Interested students are encouraged to visit the department in Latham 121, or contact the Head of the Department, Dr. Morgan.
