$1000 Scholarships Available to
UNI Dining Services Employees
The dining service scholarship was established in 2000 by UNI Dining Service. Financial assistance is from Martin Brothers Distributing, Darla Bell's memorial fund (a UNI student who passed away due to cancer) and other various food producers.
Who is eligible?
University of Northern Iowa students who are employed by UNI dining services and plan a career related to the food service industry. These majors may include, but are not limited to management, marketing, management information systems, dietetics or other careers related to the food service industry.
How can this scholarship be used?
This scholarship is intended to be used during the traditional academic year (Fall 2007-Spring 2008) at the University of Northern Iowa and will be applied to the student's U-bill.
How can I qualify?
- Students must be enrolled full time, in good standing, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Students who are currently employed and maintain employment with UNI Dining Services. Continued employment of a minimum of 10 hours a week during the 2007-2008 school year is required in order to receive the full scholarship amount.
When are applications due?
Completed application and recommendation forms must be received by February 15, 2007.
