Job Title
ResNet Computer Consultant (RCC)
Job Description
RCCs are the backbone of the ResNet program. RCCs provide the first level of support to users in residence halls and are residents themselves. RCCs must have a general knowledge of network devices and express a genuine interest in learning about networking technology. RCCs provide connectivity troubleshooting and assistance with desktop support within the Department of Residence, as well as assistance with DOR websites.

Wage
Approximately $2000/semester (depending on hours worked)

Requirements
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • On-campus resident for the coming school year (includes ROTH, Panther Village, and Hillside-Jennings Apartments)
  • Fluent in English with strong social and writing skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in a wide variety of technologies
  • A strong desire to solve problems and help others
  • Familiarity with using and maintaining Windows systems
  • Available for training and work during move-in week (the week prior to the start of the Fall semester)
