Residence Hall Opening Info

• Residence halls open Friday, August 23, 2013 at 8 a.m.
• For a $30 charge you may move in on Thursday, August 22, 2013.  You can do so without completing a form or informing staff of your intentions.
• If you have a signed 2-Year Advantage Contract, you may move in on Thursday, August 22 for no additional charge.
• If you are approved to move-in early and have a 2-Year Advantage Contract, you may move in and utilize the no-charge day as described above.  If you are arriving early for a university-sponsored purpose (i.e. marching band), you may use this option as early as Saturday, August 17.  However, you must be approved through our system and indicate that you would like to utilize the 2-year advantage day.

Please note:  students will not be able to move in to Noehren Hall or Hagemann Hall prior to August 17.

Group Arrangements

If you are responsible for a group of students needing to make arrangements for members to arrive earlier than the above stated dates, please follow this link to complete your request. You will need to provide the names and UID numbers of the students arriving early as well.

The cost charged to groups for individuals arriving to campus early is based on the type of room in which the resident is living.  Rates are as follows:

Double room in a traditional residence hall:   $17.32 per person per night
Single room in a traditional residence hall:  $21.07 per person per night
Double room in a ROTH Complex Apartment:  $18.06 per person per night
Single room in a ROTH Complex Apartment:  $25.27 per person per night
Double room in a ROTH Complex Suite:  $15.34 per person per night
Single room in a ROTH Complex Suite:  $21.23 per person per night
Single room in a Panther Village Apartment:  $27.78 per person per night

Daily charges will apply and meal service is on a cash basis in the dining center, convenience stores and restaurants.

Individual Requests

If you wish to move in earlier than the above mentioned dates and are not part of an approved group, please follow this link to complete your request.
