Shull Hall was built in 1964 and sits on the south side of campus as part of the “Quads”. One of UNI’s traditional residence halls, it is home to upperclass students living in Transfer, Upperclass and STEP Living Learning Communities, with a total of 6 houses. To be eligible, students must have 30+ credit hours and at least one year of college experience. Shull is a co-ed hall, where students primarily live in a super single room and are required to have a meal plan. Students living in Shull are connected to the Piazza dining center, Redeker Center, and have easy access to the Gallagher Bluedorn, the McLeod Center, and the bus stop. Shull Hall is open all year round, offering students a place to stay during the summer months. Air conditioners are installed in all rooms for the summer.
