This menu and pricing is designated only for UNI approved student groups/organizations hosting a university event and paying for it using a university account. Items are for pick up only. Pick up locations are: Prexy’s in Maucker Union, Rialto or Piazza.
Carry-In Policy: All foods served to groups in Maucker Union, Towers or Redeker Centers must be purchased from UNI catering or dining.
Commons Ballroom and Georgian Lounge require catering service and advance reservations for events. Take out orders are not provided to these spaces. Please call 273-2333 or go to www.uni.edu/food for additional information. Your attendees may be eligible for a discount for served events. Student attendees, who have a valid current meal plan, can receive a $2.70 discount off of the per person catered event price in exchange for a meal for the current week.

UNI has an exclusive contract with Pepsi America to purchase and serve only Pepsi products. These purchases can only be through Pepsi America and not through any other vendor. This contract gives Pepsi exclusive rights to all soft drinks served and sold by UNI and also includes juices, Gatorade and other beverages. This contract financially benefits the university and some of the financial benefits go directly to student groups and student scholarships. Residence Halls and student groups are required to purchase their beverages through the Department of Residence/Dining Services to avoid purchasing beverages that would violate the Pepsi contract.
To make it as cost effective for student groups, 2-liter Pepsi products are priced for student groups at the cost the department pays for the products. Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet. Pepsi, Sierra Mist and Root Beer are available in limited amounts from Rialto and Piazza to the Residence Halls using a Residence Hall Pop Charge Sheet at any time for purchase with little or no notice. In order to insure availability of flavors and larger quantities, it is recommended that groups place orders for 2-liter soft drinks two weeks in advance of need. Other flavors available are Orange Slice, Diet Sierra Mist and Diet Mountain Dew.
As part of the Pepsi contract, student activities and each residence hall have an allocated amount of canned soft drinks for student programming. Check with Student Activities and/or your Residence Life Coordinator to see if your event qualifies.
Take Out Meal Choices
Each residence hall house may schedule up to two house events during the school year, excluding finals week, through its' residential restaurant (Piazza or Rialto). This is at no cost to the residents if a meal plan meal is exchanged. If a meal plan meal is not exchanged, the group will be charged at the price per person identified below.
One all hall event may also be scheduled annually by the hall.
Student organizations can select these menu options as well. Each organization may have one event per year that will allow the meal to be exchanged for a valid meal plan holder. In this case, students who have a valid meal plan and are willing to exchange a meal, will not be charged. The group will be charged for the remaining participants at the price per person identified below. Additional events beyond the one per year may be scheduled, but the meal exchange will not be allowed.
Procedure:
- Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance.
- The designated organizer contacts Carol Fletcher to establish a date and menu. See above for contact information.
- A list of names and ID numbers of those attending the event and giving up the corresponding meal is returned to Carol by Monday at 1:15 PM the week before the function.
- The minimum participating number for each group is 25 persons. Smaller houses or groups, less than 30, may be an exception or encouraged to join another house or group.
- If it's a designated house function, names on the sign up list will be compared to a house member list to verify that students are members of the house. House member lists will be obtained from the residence hall secretary.
- Students who miss the sign up period may be added to the group at Carol’s discretion.
Take Out Menus:
All menus include appropriate paper products and are intended to be eaten outside of Piazza, Rialto or Commons. It is up to the student group to locate and rent grilling equipment, etc. Some residence hall offices may have serving/grilling utensils for checkout.
