RA Conference Case Study
|Case Study Form|
I am excited to offer your institution the opportunity to participate in the Case Study Competition at the 26th Annual UNI RA Conference. Participating in this competition is a great way for delegates to benefit from the evaluation of a situation, share ideas, and connect with peers and colleagues from other institutions that may positively impact your career and your life! We hope your institution plans to take advantage of this great opportunity!
The case studies will allow participants to deal with a problem or issue that they would likely confront or handle on their home campuses. This year we will offer two Case Study Competition options:
Option 1: Prepared Case Study
This option allows participants to prepare their case study responses prior to their arrival at the UNI RA Conference. This option consists of a ten-minute presentation made by a two-person team from a delegation, five minutes for Q & A by the judges, followed by five minutes for judges to discuss and evaluate the presentation.
Option 2: On-Site Case Study
This option allows participants a shorter time period to prepare their case study responses. Participants will be provided a case study when they arrive at the RA Conference. This option consists of a ten-minute presentation made by a one OR two-person team from a delegation, five minutes for Q & A by the judges, followed by five minutes for judges to discuss and evaluate the presentation.
If participants are interested in being paired with a member of a different delegation, please click on the link above for the case study registration form and complete the form.
Awards for both the Prepared Case Study and the On-Site Case Study will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday evening. Awards will be given to the top 3 participant groups in both the planned and on-site case studies.
If you wish to serve as a judge, please click on the link above and fill out the form.
Case Study Judges will meet from 9:15-9:45pm on Friday night
We welcome all professional staff members to be a judge for the Case Study Competition. This meeting will provide judges with the scenarios as well as an opportunity to ask any questions about the judging process.
Case Study Participants will meet from either 9:45-10:15pm (for Prepared Case Study Competition) or 10:15-10:45pm (for On-Site Competition) on Friday night.
The case study scenarios will be handed out at this meeting for those participating in the On-Site Case Study.
I encourage you to consider this invitation to participate in the Case Study Competition and make this year’s conference experience unforgettable. If you have questions, please feel free to call (319) 273-2333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
