Today Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Terry Hogan announced the appointment of Glenn Gray as Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of Residence. Glenn will begin work at UNI on July 1.
For the past 12 years Glenn has served as Director of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and, prior to that, served for 15 years as Assistant Director with University Housing and Dining Services at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

The Department of Residence offices in Redeker Center will be in Towers Center East Lounge May 9 – August 9 while construction is completed at Redeker Center. This involves: ID card services, room assignments, dining and housing administration, business office, technology and marketing. The department phone number and e-mail addresses will not change. Fresh Beginnings administration will move to Rialto at Towers Center. Catering operations will continue out of Maucker Union and Commons. Facilities administration will be based in Shull Hall.

Panther Pick-Up is a campus-wide campaign during finals week to redistribute items that are no longer needed by students. Items such as clothing, furniture, carpet, storage accessories, un-opened and non-perishable food, shoes, school supplies, books, electronics and more will be re-distributed to Cedar Valley families served by St. Vincent de Paul, The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.
Collection trucks will be on campus Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of finals week:

Hagemann Hall will shift from being a females, only, to coed for fall 2013. Additionally, Hagemann Hall will be home to the Living Learning Community focused on second year students. Parks and Earhart houses on 4th floor will be home to the Second Year Experience community. Hagemann Hall is connected to Redeker Center via the skywalk system.
