A question and answer section has been added to the Smooth Move guide for fall 2013.
"We're getting good questions from students and parents who are attending orientation," said Pat Beck, Assistant Director of Residence/Marketing. "We're using the conversations to improve the website information used by the thousands of students who will be moving to campus in August."

Today Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Terry Hogan announced the appointment of Glenn Gray as Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of Residence. Glenn will begin work at UNI on July 1.
For the past 12 years Glenn has served as Director of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and, prior to that, served for 15 years as Assistant Director with University Housing and Dining Services at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

The Department of Residence offices relocated to Towers Center while construction is completed at Redeker Center will return to Redeker Center July 26. July 26 is moving day, so full delivery of services will resume Monday, July 29. This involves: ID card services, room assignments, dining and housing administration, business office, technology, marketing, facilities administration, Fresh Beginnings and catering. The delivery dock has also re-opened at Redeker Center.
