Because tutoring is considered a service of a personal nature, Student Disability Services does not provide tutors as an accommodation for students with disabilities.  However, there are several resources at UNI that do provide tutoring services.

Following is a list of tutoring services available to all UNI students:

Ask-a-Tutor (Peer Tutoring)

Friendly, free tutoring is available for many Liberal Arts Core courses and some major areas. If you are concerned about reading, studying, or learning - in all courses or in a particular course - you are encouraged to meet with a tutor.  Ask-a-Tutors are trained to help you learn what you need to learn efficiently and effectively.  Bring your text(s), notes, and syllabus to the appointment.

Visit the Ask-a-Tutor website at http://www.uni.edu/academicservices/askatutor.html
