Appeals Process
If your documentation meets University guidelines and the proposed accommodations are not acceptable to you, then follow the subsequent procedure:
Appeal the decision by scheduling a meeting with the Coordinator of Student Disability Services [319-273-2676 (voice) or 319-273-3011 (TTY)] to discuss your concerns and/or unmet accommodation needs.
If your appeal is not resolved with the Coordinator of Student Disability Services, then schedule a meeting with the Counseling Center/Student Disability Services Director [319-273-2676 (voice) or 319-273-3011 (TTY)] to discuss your concerns.
If the appeal is still not resolved with the Counseling Center Director, you may discuss your case with the Director of the Office of Compliance and Equity Management [319-273-2846 (voice)] who will explain the available options to you.
