2013 Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Ally College Conference Application
The Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Ally College Conference is an annual event oriented toward developing leadership, activism, networking, health and empowerment within the queer community in the United States and Canada. It is the oldest queer conference in North America and is primarily held on college campuses across the Midwest region of the United States. Since 1991, this conference continually provides an opportunity for collegiate faculty, staff and especially students to demonstrate and develop knowledge and skill regarding queer issues such as social justice, education, history and much more.
This year, the 21st annual MBLGTACC takes place at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan, and will be hosted by students from Michigan State University. This application is an effort to provide the students of University of Northern Iowa a chance to attend this conference. This financial support will apply toward early registration and transportation to and from the conference.
**The registration deadline for the conference has been extended! If you are interested, please apply.**
