Hi, I'm Mr. Darrow! 

I grew up on a farm in Jones County, Iowa. I started first grade in a one-room country school, went to grade school and my first year of high school at Morley, and graduated high school at Olin. During my high school years I had some very enjoyable and meaningful experiences in vocal music, band, drama, speech, debate, and FFA. My continuing education led to B.A. and M.A. degrees from UNI, and a Ph. D. from The Ohio State University, Columbus. My major fields of study were industrial technology and science. My most recent teaching experience was at Price Laboratory School at UNI. 







I enjoy spending time with my children (three sons and a daughter) and grandchildren (three girls and three boys). My oldest granddaughter is entering high school this year. My youngest grandson and granddaughter just celebrated their 4th birthday. I also enjoy singing in a church choir and other groups. Recently I joined the New Horizons Band at UNI as a drummer. I have numerous other interests, including traveling, reading, photography, rock collecting, and working with computers. 







I'm teaching one-third time at Hudson this year and look forward to working with Hudson school personnel, students and parents.
