CALCULATIONS
ArchiCAD 6.5
Performing Calculations will allow you to speed up the process of counting each of your windows and/or
doors in preparing to complete a Window/Door Schedule.
STEP 1:
Make sure ALL windows and doors have been placed and are sized to proper specifications.
STEP 2:
SAVE your file before proceeding. Calculations can sometimes cause errors that will force you to
restart and possibly loose your changes.
STEP 3:
Use the Calculate pull down menu. Go to List Elements and choose Door Simple Schedule
STEP 4:
The ArchiCAD software will then produce a simple schedule (see below) that will give supply you with a
complete list of your doors and windows as they exist on your current plan
STEP 5:
Double check to make sure ALL of your doors (or windows) have been listed. SOME OF THE THIRD PART
LIBRARY PARTS MAY NOT SHOW UP ON YOUR SIMPLE SCHEDULE
STEP 6:
PRINT your simple schedule for a reference.
STEP 7:
Duplicate the process for a Simple Window Schedule and PRINT for reference.
STEP 8:
Complete your window/door schedule as instructed, print and submit for grading.
