His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet will give the keynote address for the 2010 Joy Cole Corning Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series. His speech, "The Power of Education," will focus on the importance of education in an increasingly global society, the role of education in developing socially responsible citizens, and the impact an individual can have on the world.

Violence in our schools, communities, workplace and our world affects everyone. Join His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet and distinguished panelists as they discuss ways in which we, as individuals and as a society, can address issues of violence, promote civility and enhance understanding through education.
If you have ordered a lunch, can be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. inside the southwest entrance of the UNI-Dome. Please bring a copy of your receipt to receive your lunch. Lunch options also will be available at the concession stands on the west side of the UNI-Dome. Guests can sit in the bleachers on the west side of the UNI-Dome or anywhere on the grounds to enjoy lunch.
